Raagini soars high with her sensational music.

Raagini Kavathekar is from Bilaspur, Chattisgarh. She was born in a Musical Family to her father who was a renowned tabla player and a mother who was an Indian Classical Singer. She had made her entry into the Bollywood 7 years back with a number of films and Original Songs to her credit list. Currently, she is a Bollywood Playback Singer, Music Composer and an actor as well. She has been a pioneer of promoting Folk in the Global level. With a firm Indian Classical Background, she has topped 26 states in classical music and won the title of ‘Surushree’ by the Legendary Music Composer Ravindra Jain. She has made a remarkable identity in Rajasthani Music Industry too with numerous hits like ‘Dharti Dhora Ri’, Baisara Beera etc which are one among the most popular Rajasthani songs which has been sung by her. She was determined to create new songs by fusing different genres. These could be new music of the generation or experimenting with old songs. Recently as a composer and as an actor herself, she has released 3 songs namely, Saawarya Sataye Mohe on Zee Music, Ankhiyaan Zaar Zaar on Times Music & Aala Re Aala on Zee Music. Presently, she is working on a movie on Shivaji as a composer for which she has already recorded two songs. Moreover, as a Revival she has Mashed up 2 Ghazals which are poles opposite to be fused, but she has wonderfully managed to create a bridge to merge them into a whole music. This was released on Saregama with the title “Apni Tasveer ko & Ankhon ka tha qusoor”. Raagini has proved herself as a proficient Indian Classical Singer by singing this Ghazal.
